Today the world is celebrating the seventh International Yoga Day, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen on Monday morning. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his address with salutations that he wished you all. Wishing everyone a very happy 7th 'International Yoga Day'.

Addressing the countrymen, he said – Today, when the whole world is fighting the corona epidemic, yoga remains a ray of hope. For two years, there may not have been a big public event in countries around the world and in India, but the enthusiasm for Yoga Day has not diminished in the slightest. Despite Corona, the theme of this year's Yoga Day "Yoga for wellness" has increased the enthusiasm for yoga among crores of people. Today on Yoga Day, I wish that every country, every society and every person is healthy. Let's all come together to be each other's strength.

Our sages and sages had given this definition for yoga "samatvam yoga uchyate". He had made restraint in a way a parameter of yoga, being equal in happiness and sorrow. Today in this global tragedy, Yoga has proved it. In these one and a half years of Corona, how many countries including India have faced a big crisis.

For most countries of the world, Yoga Day is not their age-old cultural festival. In this difficult time, people in so much trouble could easily forget it, ignore it. But on the contrary, the enthusiasm of yoga has increased among the people, the love for yoga has increased. In the last one and a half years, lakhs of new yoga seekers have been created in every corner of the world. The first synonym of yoga, which has been said to be restraint and discipline, everyone is also trying to implement it in their life.

When the invisible virus of Corona had knocked in the world, then no country was ready for it, by means, by strength and by mental state. We all have seen that in such difficult times, yoga became a great medium of self-confidence. Yoga increased the belief in people that we can fight this disease.

When I talk to doctors, frontline warriors, they tell me that they also made yoga their protective shield in the fight against Corona. Doctors also strengthened themselves with yoga, and also used it to help their patients recover quickly. Today, many such pictures come from hospitals where doctors, nurses are teaching yoga to patients, while patients are sharing their experiences. The experts of the world are telling themselves how much strength our respiratory system gets from breathing exercises like pranayama, anulom-vilom.

The great Tamil saint Sri Thiruvallavar said - "Noi nadi, noi mudal nadi, hadu tanikkum, vai nadi vaypachayal" i.e., if there is a disease,

Diagnose it, go to its root, find out what is the cause of the disease, and then ensure its treatment. Yoga shows this way. Today medical science also lays equal emphasis on healing as well as healing and yoga is beneficial in the healing process. I am satisfied that today experts from all over the world are doing many scientific research on this aspect of yoga. are working on it.

In the Corona era, many studies are being done on the benefits of yoga for our body, on the positive effects it has on our immunity. Nowadays we see in many schools the beginning of online classes.

Yoga- Pranayama is being done to the children for 10-15 minutes . It is also preparing children physically to compete with Corona.

The sages of India have taught us – Vyayamat labhte swastham, vrhapa ayushyam balam sukham. Arogyam Paramam Bhagyam, Swastham Sarvartha Sadhanam.

That is, by doing yoga-exercise, we get good health, we get strength, and we get a long happy life. Health is our greatest destiny, and good health is the means of all success. The sages of India, whenever India has spoken of health, it has not meant only physical health. That is why so much emphasis is placed on mental health along with physical health in yoga. When we do pranayama, meditate, do other yogic activities, we experience our inner-consciousness. Through yoga, we feel that our thought power, our inner power is so much that no problem of the world, no negativity can break us. Yoga shows us the path from stress to strength, from negativity to creativity. Yoga takes us from depression to ecstasy and from ecstasy to prasad.

Yoga tells us that so many problems might be out there, but we have infinite solutions within ourselves. We are the biggest source of energy in our universe. We do not realise this energy because of the many divisions that exist. At times, the lives of people exist in silos. These divisions reflect in the overall personality as well. The shift from silos to union is Yoga. A proven way to experience, a realization of oneness is Yoga. I am reminded of the words of the great Gurdev Tagore, who said and I quote:

"the meaning of our self is not to be found in its separateness from God and others, but in the ceaseless realization of yoga, of union."

The mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' which India has followed since ages, is now finding global acceptance. We all are praying for each other's wellbeing, If there are threats to humanity,

Yoga often gives us a way of holistic health. Yoga also gives us a happier way of life. I am sure, Yoga will continue playing its preventive, as well as positive role in healthcare of masses.

When India proposed International Day of Yoga in the United Nations, it was the spirit behind it to make this science of yoga accessible to the whole world. Today, India has taken another important step in this direction along with the United Nations, WHO.

Now the world is going to get the power of M-Yoga app. In this app, many videos of yoga training will be available in different languages of the world based on the Common Yoga Protocol. this modern technology

And also a great example of the fusion of ancient science. I am sure m-Yoga app will play a big role in expanding Yoga across the globe and making One World, One Health's efforts a success.

It is said in the Gita- Tan Vidyad Dukh Sanyog-Viyogam Yoga Sangyatam.

That is, separation from sorrows, liberation itself is called yoga. We have to carry forward this yogic journey of humanity which takes everyone along. No matter what the place, whatever the situation, whatever the age.

For everyone, yoga has a solution. Today in the world, the number of people who are curious about yoga is increasing very much. The number of yoga establishments in the country and abroad is also increasing. In such a situation, the basic philosophy of yoga, which is the basic principle, while maintaining it, it is necessary that yoga should reach people to people, reach continuously and reach continuously, this work is necessary. And this work should be done by the people associated with yoga, the masters of yoga, yoga preachers together. We ourselves have to take the pledge of yoga, and we also have to connect our loved ones with this resolution. This mantra of 'Yoga to Cooperation' will show us the way to a new future, will empower humanity.

With these best wishes, on International Day of Yoga today, wishing all of you all the very best, thank you very much!
